How activation works

After you buy, Lemon Squeezy emails you a licence key. Start the game, open the ReShade overlay > Add-ons > DBM Deep Light, paste the key and click Activate. Then restart the game. Your licence key is never stored on your PC.

Offline and grace

• While you are subscribed, Deep Light works offline for up to 30 days, plus 3 days of grace.
• It renews its licence in the background, from about 10 days before it runs out, and checks in about once a week when you are online.
• If your licence ran out while you were away and is renewed when you start the game again, Deep Light asks for one restart.

One PC

• Your licence is active on one PC at a time.
• It is bound to your PC's motherboard: a new graphics card, disks or memory, or a Windows reinstall, keep it activated.
• You can move it to another PC yourself, once every 30 days: activate it on the new PC and choose to move it.

Monthly

Deep Light works on the paid game versions while your subscription is paid. When it ends, Deep Light turns off on paid game versions from the next game start after its next check-in, or when its licence runs out (at most 30 days plus 3 days of grace) if it stays offline. The free versions keep working.

Yearly and KEEP

• When a yearly period ends and was not refunded, the game versions released up to its end stay licensed for good (KEEP) and work offline.
• When online, a KEEP licence checks in about once a month, so a licence moved to another PC stops on the old one.
• If a later year is refunded, you keep KEEP for the earlier, paid year. A refunded first year has no KEEP.
• Game versions released after your paid year need an active plan.

Free versions

When a new game version becomes stable, Deep Light for the previous version becomes free. 1.61 is the first version: it becomes free when 1.62 is stable.

Refunds

Payments are final once Deep Light is activated, with one exception: if Deep Light does not work on your PC and I cannot fix it, write to support@dbmmods.com within 7 days of the payment, with your GPU, game version and the log file, and I refund that payment in full. Your rights under EU law are not affected. Details: refund policy.
