What you get on an RTX card
- DLSS 4 and 4.5 upscaling with presets K, L and M, plus DLAA for an image sharper than the game's TAA.
- DLSS frame generation on RTX 40 and 50 with NVIDIA Reflex low latency.
- Multi frame generation up to 6× on RTX 50, 2× on RTX 40.
- Clean traffic and HUD: moving cars and trucks get their own motion vectors, so frame generation keeps them sharp without ghost trails. An optional HUD-less mode keeps the game HUD crisp.
- Works with ProMods and your map mods.
Real numbers: in American Truck Simulator, upscaling to 4K with frame generation ran at 110 to 130 FPS on an RTX 5070 Ti. Read the test.
Install in a minute
Download the ZIP, close the game and run Install.bat. Start the game and press Home to open the ReShade overlay, then go to Add-ons > DBM Deep Light. Uninstall.bat puts everything back as it was. Current game version: ETS2 1.61.
No RTX card?
FSR upscaling and FSR frame generation work on any DirectX 12 GPU. See FSR frame generation for ETS2 and ATS.
One licence covers ETS2 and ATS. No always-online: it works offline for up to 30 days. See the FAQ for what happens if you stop.
Questions
Does ETS2 support DLSS?
Not by itself. Neither Euro Truck Simulator 2 nor American Truck Simulator has an upscaler of its own. Deep Light adds DLSS 4 and 4.5, DLAA and DLSS frame generation to both games.
Which GPU do I need for DLSS in ETS2?
DLSS and DLAA need an NVIDIA RTX card. DLSS frame generation needs an RTX 40 or 50, and multi frame generation up to 6× needs an RTX 50. On other GPUs, Deep Light uses FSR instead.
Does DLSS frame generation add input lag in ETS2?
Deep Light runs DLSS frame generation together with NVIDIA Reflex, so the truck answers the wheel without the usual frame generation lag. Dynamic mode fills your monitor's refresh rate and Reflex caps it at the FPS you choose.
