What the "DLSS 5" videos show
- A sharp image from NVIDIA DLSS with its newest presets, in place of the game's soft TAA.
- High FPS from frame generation.

ETS2 has no DLSS of its own, so these setups add it with separate tools: an upscaler injector such as OptiScaler, ReShade presets and lighting mods, each set up by hand and each updated by its own author.
What Deep Light does instead
- DLSS 4 and 4.5 (presets K, L and M) and DLAA, replacing the game's TAA. FSR 3.1 on every other DirectX 12 GPU.
- Frame generation: DLSS multi frame generation up to 6× on RTX 50 and 2× on RTX 40, with NVIDIA Reflex; FSR frame generation on AMD, Intel and older NVIDIA cards.
- Clean traffic and HUD: moving vehicles get their own motion vectors, and the HUD stays sharp with frame generation.
- The light is built in: physically based lighting, a filmic tonemap, wet roads, cracks and puddles, dirt on trucks.
- Made for the game: every ETS2 version gets its own Deep Light profile, so it keeps working after an update.
Install in a minute
Download the ZIP, close the game and run Install.bat. It installs ReShade, NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FidelityFX and switches the game to DirectX 12. Start the game, press Home and open Add-ons > DBM Deep Light. Deep Light Core, with DLSS upscaling and DLAA, is free for life. Current game version: ETS2 1.61.

Is there DLSS 5 in ETS2?
Euro Truck Simulator 2 has no DLSS of its own. Videos titled "DLSS 5 in ETS2" show community setups that add NVIDIA DLSS and frame generation with separate tools, configured by hand. Deep Light adds DLSS 4 and 4.5 (presets K, L and M), DLAA and DLSS frame generation as one add-on built for ETS2 and ATS.
Do I need OptiScaler with Deep Light?
No. Deep Light loads DLSS and FSR itself and replaces the game's TAA with them. Use one or the other: two upscalers on the same game work on the same frame and get in each other's way.
Can I get the newest DLSS presets?
Yes. Deep Light offers presets K, L and M, and any newer preset you choose in the NVIDIA app (DLSS overrides) applies in ETS2 and ATS too.
Is it free?
DLSS upscaling and DLAA are in Deep Light Core, free for life on every stable game version Deep Light supports. Frame generation, the materials and the full lighting are in Deep Light Pro.
